MEET OUR COACHES

Sam loves to have a good time, and that is how he coaches. His main goal is make to sure that each member that comes through the door has the best hour of their day. He has an acute understanding of what it is like to be at a low point in terms of health and well being, and his passion to is help those that are in a similar situation as he was change their life for the better. He is very open about his journey, so if you feel like CrossFit is not for you stop in and say hi! Give him a chance to prove, that regardless of where you begin, you can end up doing some pretty incredible things!

Outside of the gym, I trade in my spandex for a pair of scrubs. I’m a surgical nurse at an orthopedic surgery center in Appleton. I became a nurse because I wanted to impact people‘s lives in a meaningful way. Being a CrossFit coach allows me to do that along with my day job – it’s the best of both worlds!
So if you’re looking for a change like I was, trust your instincts and GO FOR IT! You won’t regret it.

When Kelsey is not dancing around the gym, she is helping families in the area as a School Social Worker, hanging out at home with her cat, Griffey, or running around on a volleyball court. Helping others reach their full potential is her ultimate goal in becoming a CrossFit coach.

The best part of my job is helping people relieve stress. Did you know that spending just a couple minutes petting me will help reduce your overall stress levels? Also I am here for you if you are a little scared or nervous about trying CrossFit for the first time. I don’t care what your fitness level is, how fast you can run a mile, how much weight you can lift; I just want you to be happy and feel at home. I know some people are not fans of dogs and I am ok with that, all you need to do is tell my Dad, Coach Sam, and he will put me in my room. I have a super comfy bed in there, so it really doesn’t bother me at all!
If you are interested in trying out CrossFit, but feel scared or intimidated, just stop in to see me instead! I will show you the ropes and how awesome CrossFit and the CrossFit community is!
